Philippa Harris has worked as a
psychiatric nurse in hospital and community settings in Australia and
the United Kingdom and has been with the Fellowship since 1991. Philippa
has
developed and coordinated a number of the fellowship's current programs.
Her special areas of interest include advocacy and increasing awareness
and education of mental illness within the broader community.

CAROLINE GEOGHEGAN - COUNSELLOR / EDUCATOR
BARBARA ANDERSON - FORENSIC SECURE SUPPORT WORKER
Barbara Anderson has worked for the
Fellowship since 2002 on a part-time basis and has a Bachelor of
Psychology (Hons) from James Cook University. Barb coordinated the
Fellowship's counselling and liaison services until 2005, when she
shifted focus to coordinating the new Forensic Secure Support Program.
This program provides support to people with mental illness, their
families and friends who are connected with the Forensic Secure in
Townsville.
Rhonda Armstrong - Finance Administration Officer
Rhonda joined the Fellowship in 2004 having worked for
ten years in the health/welfare sector. Previous duties in the sector
include administration, personal support, group facilitation and program
coordinator roles. Rhonda has tertiary studies in Community
Welfare, Finance and Information Technology.
VOLUNTEER STAFF
The Fellowship has always relied heavily on
volunteer staffing. Currently the volunteer are coordinated by
Donna as part of the rehabilitation program

Duties include on-going cataloguing the Fellowship's library for the
state-wide library resource project and maintaining the existing library
and information resources.
- M.I.E. Co-ordinator (Mental Illness Education)
M.I.E. Coordinator's role is to recruit, train and
support the volunteers who provide mental illness education to schools
and other interested groups, in the Townsville and Thuringowa districts.
